I belong to a movement of post-modern trans-humans with a background in information theory and organisational theory. I see myself to society, to the human race, as a cell within my body is to me as a whole. Materialism and individualism are distractions of a self enveloping sentience. Technology brings us ever closer together and though we may have our individuality and specialisations we are functions within a greater, grander, system. Originating from Earth and Earth from our Milky Way, and so on from the dawn of time and space. Our function is as a direct effect of existence. Of a fractal, entropic, myriad of states and interrelations. We can do nothing but everything. That is our right, and our duty. For the universe is deterministic and once the fabric has been ruffled and complexity is born it is our place to extend our reach beyond the stars. And if in doubt, to promulgate this ideal.
So let people have their gender, sexuality, and orientation. Their religions, cults, governments, organisations, institutions, and whimsey. But let us not stray from the course. We are a mindless extension of a void willing itself to be filled. For when all is cold, and there is naught but dust, we must recreate the energy gradient. Return entropy to it's most complex state. There is no futility in this struggle against laws. For without opposition there is no function. Upon this series of beliefs is 1=1 founded:
- Concepts, like mathematics, existed before the universe, as ideas are oft to be, without form or function within a void. Given a slate to draw upon the universe itself bends and gives birth and home to the meta.
- Freedom is ours, our continuum assured. Come hell or high-water.
- Logic holds throughout the universe, whether chemical, quantum, physical, cause and effect are real.
- The number one is an idea that requires boundaries to allow for certain definition. Without an adequate gradient from one form or area of existence to another we cannot divide the universe without being arbitrary and contrary. One equals one describes a universal wholeness to which we divide into constructs like sandwiches and petunias.
- Chemical processes within our bodies allow for the complexity of our behaviour and environmental responses. To err is human, to forgive divine. Let's learn from our forebears. Adapt and survive, but let us not tempt fate and reduce our corporeal complexity. For when all is flux, the answers will come in time.
- When all seems overwhelming, look to your grasp, not your reach. For within our minds, geography and distance share the same space. Only time sets things apart.
- In the beginning there was a beginning, there will be no end. First there was 0 then there was 1. From within the womb of existence there was born Time, Space, and Meta. All to seek infinity and the ethics of expression of all points, at all states, in all times, at all times. And that all that can be, will and must be. If we define quantum behaviour within a set of dimensions, we increase our vocabulary with every extra dimension, or letter, of the language the universe speaks. Within a Zero dimensional area there is no room for anything but Meta. Within a One dimensional area there is room for meta, and Space but not Time, as Time requires boundaries. As you add dimensions to your definition of the universe, just as there are infinite real degrees of division within a circle, you require an example of infinity to describe a perfect circle. Even if an idea, within Meta.
Fill our lives with meaning, enough to burst the seams of space and time.
