Innocence is a tragedy. Fate fully formed and packaged for annihilation.
The sweetest of attributes deep in its unknowing and rife with blissful ignorance
of its own demise. The fall never looked so good. We needn’t make innocence our
enemy, it will come of age, as do all youthful attributes. Nor should we
protect it, for such hopes are folly.
